LDR Home Care LLC is a woman owned health care business. We are professional, agile, autonomous and our goal is to enrich the lives of our clients by supporting them with caring and knowledgeable staff.
Our work environment includes:
Hiring for part-time after school hours 3:15 pm to 8 pm. 2-5 evenings a week (can be flexible). Every other Saturday is avaiable if interested. Limited work on holidays, no on call.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support and care to children with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Provide transportation for individuals to appointments, activities, and community outings
- Support individuals in developing and maintaining independent living skills
- Document and report any changes in behavior or health status to supervisor
- Foster a safe and supportive environment for individuals
Skills:
- Experience in direct support or patient care preferred
- Knowledge of home care practices and procedures
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks such as transferring individuals from wheelchairs or beds
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other staff members
Please note that this position may require working evenings, weekends, and holidays.
